Amherstburg native Michael DiPietro is headed back to the Ontario Hockey League.
The Ottawa 67's goalie made his NHL debut Monday night when he started in net for the Vancouver Canucks.
On Wednesday, the Canucks recalled goalie Marek Mazanec who took part in morning skate with Jacob Markstrom and DiPietro.
It was later announced that Markstrom would start Wednesday night against Anaheim, backed up by Mazanec.
DiPietro allowed seven goals in his debut in Vancouver's 7-2 loss against the San Jose Sharks.
