A popular Windsor restaurant continues to give back to the community.
For the 16th straight year, Mezzo Ristorante and Lounge on Erie St. is hosting its Christmas Day luncheon.
Co-owner Filip Rocca says he's unsure how many people will attend but says in past years the luncheon has attracted north of 200 people.
"It's very heartwarming to see everybody happy and they keep going up for seconds and enjoying their lunch and the atmosphere at Mezzo so it's just one way of giving back," says Rocca.
Rocca says there will be some variety on the menu this year.
"We're serving some turkey, some chicken, pasta, different vegetables, potatoes," says Rocca. "We have a few people bringing some breakfast items, some pancakes and things like that."
The meal will be served from 11am until 2pm.
Also for the third year in a row, Craftheads Brewing Company is hosting a free holiday community dinner.
It is organized by foreign student Jesse Peyton and it will be held from 1pm until 4 pm on Christmas Day.
