A scary incident for an Essex County mom.
Lauren Wells was waiting for the school bus to drop off her daughter in front of her home yesterday afternoon at 3:45pm on Manning Rd. when suddenly, a white Chrysler 300 drives past the bus, on the right side of the bus where the doors are on the gravel shoulder.
The incident was caught on security camera and Wells is seen running toward the bus.
Speaking on AM800's the Morning Drive, Wells says everyone was in shock.
"Honestly the bus driver was so stunned that she didn't have time to react, I ran out and tried to take a couple of pictures but it was so far away that you can't make out the license," says Wells.
"The police said without a license there isn't much they can do, they are going to mention it and anyone in the area will do some extra patrols."

Wells says no one had time to react.
"It happened so fast and that is part of the issue is that people are travelling so fast down this road and they are not paying attention and at the last second decided to swerve around the bus."
Wells is hoping that the driver or someone who knows the driver will see the video and a bit of "shame will set in" and they will think twice before doing it again.
