Nonlife threatening injuries after police say a relative stabbed the child
A charge of attempted murder has been laid against a youth after a child was stabbed in Windsor.
Police were called to a home on the east side around 3:45pm on Sunday, July 14 and learned the child was stabbed by a relative who fled the scene on foot.
The child was taken to hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries and the scene was contained for an investigation.
Police say the suspect, a youth, was arrested a short time later without incident.
The Major Crimes Branch is investigating.
