A Windsor man was stabbed repeatedly on Christmas Day in LaSalle
A Canada wide arrest warrant has now been issued for a suspect wanted in relation to a stabbing on Christmas Day in LaSalle.
Two men were on their way to a bar when they realized it was closed for the holiday and an argument broke out.
A 20-year old from Windsor was repeatedly stabbed but was able to get out of the vehicle and wandered through a wooded area near Golfview Drive at Matchette Road before a resident heard his cries for help and called police.
The suspect fled in an orange Honda Element with Arizona license plates and has been identified as 25-year old Shanique White who has ties to Detroit and Phoenix.
He's described as black, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and no visible tattoos.
LaSalle Police believe White has returned to the U.S. and is wanted on a charge of attempted murder.
