The Windsor Police Services Board is now offering a $5,000 reward in hopes of finding the two gunmen, who shot and killed, a University of Windsor student.
Jason Pantlitz-Solomon, 20, was gunned down on Ouellette Ave at University Ae. around 2:40am on Monday, August 27.
Police say two men armed with guns, wearing hoodies with the hoods up and tied tightly around their faces to hide their identity, approached Solomon and fired multiple shots.
"Witnesses describe the suspects as black or hispanic males and one with darker skin than the other," says Windsor police Superintendent Jason Crowley.
The suspects then fled in a white Nissan Altima which was later found in the Peel Region.
"Upon investigation in the Peel region, there was a firearm recovered in that white Nissan Altima which we believe is related to our homocide of Mr. Solomon," says Crowley.
Solomon was a third-year criminology student at the University of Windsor but came from the Peel Region and investigators believe the shooting was a targeted incident.

A 19-year old woman, who was with Solomon, was also hurt but injuries were non-life threatening.
Of the eight homocides this year in Windsor, this is the only case where police have not made an arrest, have a person of interest or an arrest warrant issued.
The Windsor Police Services Board has now approved a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
