Students from across Windsor-Essex have returned home from Camp Brombal.
The 41 grade six students are part of the Values, Influences and Peers (VIP) school program.
They've been gone for the past four days, taking part in a number activities at the camp such as horseback riding, fishing, go-carting and swimming.
12-year-old Ashley Thibert attends Marlborough Public School in Windsor and says she liked trying new things.
"The past four days I liked everything about it," says Thibert. "This camp gave me an opportunity to do stuff that I couldn't do before."
She says he favourite activities were the go-karts, fireworks and fishing.
The campers also received a brand new bicycle, lock and helmet.
The camp is hosted by the Windsor Police Service and is free for every family thanks to community sponsors.
All of the activities are held at Camp Cederwin on the Arner Townline in Kingsville.
Camp Brombal started in 2001.
