Victims Of U.S Gymnastics Doctor Settle Lawsuit With University

The 500million settlement was reached Wednesday morning

Victims of former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar will receive $500-million to settle lawsuits filed against the university.  

The "Detroit Free Press" says the board of trustees approved the settlement in a meeting Wednesday morning.  

There were approximately 300 women and girls who were sexually assaulted by Nassar.  

He has been sentenced to federal prison and will be behind bars for the rest of his life.
