Amherstburg police hoping to have more information before weeks end
Amherstburg police are thanking several Good Samaritans who stopped to help after a fatal crash on North Townline road.
A 2013 Harley Davidson driven by a 48-year-old Leamington man and a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by a 61-year-old Amherstburg woman collided.
The motorcycle driver was taken to Windsor Regional Hospital after the crash at about 2 pm and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The car's driver was uninjured.
Amherstburg police are continuing their investigation of the crash.
North Townline Road at Broderick Road re-opened shortly after six last evening.
