The name of the victim in Thursday's fatal stabbing has been confirmed by AM800 News and CTV Windsor.
Windsor Police Services were called to a home on Giles Blvd. E. near McDougall St. around 4:30am and found several people around a man suffering from a stab wound.
Multiple sources confirm 25-year-old Jerson Calero was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries. Police already confirmed he was allegedly stabbed by a relative after a family dispute Thursday.
Officers arrested 19-year-old suspect Isaiah Calero of Windsor at a home on Church St. an hour into the investigation. He's charged with one count of second degree murder.
That brings Windsor's total to nine homicides and one manslaughter case this year.
