Windsor police have now released the name of the victim in a homicide investigation last month as they try to make an arrest in the case.
On April 29th at 4am, police were called after a 43-year-old man was found on a sidewalk on Tecumseh Rd East near Drouillard.
An autopsy done on Steven Hill, also known as Steven Kiyoshk, found the cause of death to be blunt force trauma.
Investigators believe the victim may have been struck by a vehicle.
It is possible the driver was not even aware that a person had been struck.
Hill was last seen on April 29th around 1:30am as he was being dropped off by a cab at his home located above the Little Memphis Cabaret.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen him between 1:30am and 4:45am.
Windsor Police Sergeant Steve Betteridge says even though the driver of the vehicle may not be aware he or she hit someone, it is still a homicide investigation.
"When you use the word homicide, that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with charges," says Sergeant Betteridge. "The criminal code defines homicide as a person commits a homicide when directly or indirectly, by any means, causes the death of another human being."
Police are also looking to speak to the drivers of two different vehicles as both vehicles were seen going westbound passing the intersection.
The first vehicle is a white cube van.

The second vehicle is a smaller SUV.
