VIA Rail Delays Expected Until MidDecember

Windsor trains will be impacted by the delays

Anyone taking the train between now and December could experience some delays.

VIA Rail has announced that between now and mid-December, there's going to be infrastructure work on a portion of the railway in the Mimico area of the Greater Toronto Area.

As a result, trains will be redirected and delays of up to 30-minutes are expected.

The work will impact Toronto-bound trains from Windsor and trains heading to Windsor.

The delays will only happened on certain weekends between now and December.

This infrastructure work will mostly affect passengers on Westbound trains:

Between Toronto, Oakville, London, Windsor: #81, 71, 73, 75, 79Between Toronto and Niagara Falls: #97

Passengers whose destination is Toronto on the following Eastbound trains will also be impacted:

Between Windsor, London, Oakville and Toronto: #80, 70, 72, 76, 78Between Niagara Falls and Toronto: #98
