A Windsor man has been charged for crashing into a portable classroom which then burst into flames.
Windsor police were called to a crash Sunday at 3:30am at Vincent Massey Secondary School on Liberty St.
An investigation found the driver had been circling the school track but lost control, slid along the rain soaked grass and crashed into a portable classroom.
The vehicle burst into flames and spread to the portable.
The driver escape and called 9-1-1
There was heavy damage to the portable and vehicle.
A 20-year-old Windsor man was charged with Mischief/Damage Property Exceeding $5000.
