Michigan man returned to the U.S.
A man pulled over for a traffic stop on Tecumseh Road in Tecumseh could now face immigration charges.
The 58-year-old Michigan man was pulled over by the OPP for distracted driving on Monday October 15.
He initially gave a false ID to the officer, but when his actually identity was discovered, it turned out he was not legally in Canada.
The Canadian Border Services office of Inland Enforcement was notified and took the man into custody.
The man was charged under the Highway Traffic Act before being returned to the US.
