5million in work is being done
Upgrades and improvements continue at South Windsor Recreation Complex.
The $5-million project includes a new gym and community rooms.
Ward 1 Councillor Fred Francis says it's the busiest community centre in the city. "You're talking about I think it's about anywhere between 1500 to 2000 people a week go through that to use that community centre, by far the busiest in the city. So it's something I think everyone in South Windsor is excited about but I think it's something that everyone in the city is excited about as well."
Completion is slated for later this month or early December.
