A former Windsor teacher has pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a student.
43-year-old Christina Albini pleaded guilty to one count of sexual interference in Ontario court Monday morning.
The 14-year old student's parents found a cell phone, given to the boy by Albini, which contained nude pictures of Albini.
The parents went to police.
Albini was a teacher at Christ the King School where the boy went to school.
Court heard Albini and the boy had a sexual relationship between January 2016 to July 2016 when she was arrested.
The two professed their love for one another and the boy said Albini was like a mother-figure to him.
The two had sex in Albini's south Windsor home.
Albini's lawyer Pat Ducharme says his client faces time behind bars.
"There is a minimum mandatory for one year in prison and it goes up from there," said Ducharme.

The case returns to court June 28th for a pre-sentence report.
Catholic School Board Spokesperson Stephen Fields says Albini is no longer employed at the board.
According to the Ontario College of Teachers, Albini's status is listed as "suspended, not-payment of fees".
