A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for the region

A thunderstorm warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent has ended but a watch remains in place.

Thunderstorms and strong winds could still develop this afternoon across most of Southern Ontario.

A mix of sun and cloud today with a 60 percent chance of showers this afternoon...there's a risk of a thunderstorm with winds gusting to 30km/h...the daytime high reaching 27...feeling like 33 with the humidex.

Partly cloudy tonight with a 60 percent chance of showers as well...clearing before morning with the overnight low dropping to 15.

Sunny skies tomorrow morning changing to a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon...the high 23...29 with the humidex.

Monday - Cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 23.

Tuesday - More clouds with a 60 percent chance of showers and a daytime high of 29.

Wednesday - Cloudy again with a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 24
