UPDATED Officials Say 26 Dead In Texas Mass Shooting

Local news outlets report as many as 40 people have been shot at a Baptist Church in South Texas

26 people are dead and 20 people are wounded after a man opened fire at a Baptist Church in South Texas Sunday.

It happened some time before 12pm in Sutherland Springs Tx., not far from San Antonio.

Two officials - one a U.S. official and one in law enforcement - identified the shooter as Devin Kelley. A short time after the shooting Kelley was found dead in his vehicle. A motive is still under investigation.

Reports from CTV News have local officials saying the shooter is dead.
