A Windsor man has been charged following a bizarre incident at Windsor police headquarters Monday night.
As AM800 news reported this morning, a man went to police headquarters around 7pm and was inside the closed vestibule with a large dog on a leash as the doors were locked.
The man was sweating, his movements were jittery and he was acting in an erratic manner.
Police tried to communicate with him but the man screamed out.
He then pulled out a knife and fled on foot.
While police chased him, the man threw a second knife. He was arrested on University Ave near Goyeau.
Both knives were recovered. He was later found to be in possession of a suspected narcotic.
36-year-old Christopher Holden is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and possession of a controlled substance, suspected Methamphetamine.
