The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is once again looking for updated student immunization records.
Earlier this week, the health unit sent out letters to grade 11 and 12 students requesting the information.
Manager of Healthy Schools, Judy Allen, says students will have until February 28, 2017 to provide their records or face suspension.
She says the health unit will continue to remind students, parents and guardians.
"We're asking parents to try and get back to us by the end of the month. Beginning around January 9 second notices will go out to those who have not provided us with the information and then suspension notices will go out February 1 for those who still have not provided the information with a suspension date of February 28."
Allen says updated records are needed.
"Most of them probably have already had the immunizations, We just don't have the record of it here at the health unit. So if they got a letter, they should check with their health care provider to see if they've already got the shot that's required."
She says the health unit is giving the students more than two months notice.
The grade 11 or 12 students were born in 1999 and 2000.
The health unit sent out over 8,000 immunization notices.
In September, the health unit suspended more than 200 students born in 2008 with incomplete records.
