Windsor police is asking for the public's assistance in an ongoing homicide investigation.
The victim of a violent assault, who was found in a west Windsor apartment has died in hospital.
The 26-year-old had his hands bound and he was beaten and stabbed multiple times.
Police are now treating the case as a homicide.
Through the investigation, detectives found the victim was lured to the rear parking lot of Tim Horton's located on Howard Avenue, near Grand Marais Road East, on October 18th between 8 and 9 p.m.
Windsor police says the victim was abducted and forced into a red vehicle. He was found the next morning in an apartment on Mill Street.
Police say the victim was targeted and it was not a random act.
Walter Smith, a 67-year-old male from Windsor has been arrested and charged with forcible confinement and murder.
Warrants have been issued for three additional suspects.
26-year-old Dustin Schuh, 38-year old Daniel Shaw and 32-year-old Melissa Luyten are wanted for Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement and Murder.
They are all from the Windsor area.
Windsor police are warning residents not to approach the suspects but to call police.

Windsor police also found the victim was targeted in a stabbing incident reported back on September 29. In this incident he was found in the area of Glengarry Avenue and Wyandotte Street East at approximately 2:30 a.m., suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was treated and released, but was not cooperative with the investigation.
