Charges are pending against an adult and youth in connection with an arson in central Windsor over the weekend.
On Sunday, April 8 at 2:30am, police were flagged down by two residents indicating that a house was on fire on Vimy Ave.
Police and the two citizens were able to wake up the sleeping occupants.
Investigators believed the fire was deliberately set and discovered two vehicles in the driveway had punctured tires.
Thanks to surveillance video in the area and witness information, two suspects were identified.
Police went to a home on Memorial Drive and arrested an adult and youth who are now facing charges of arson-disregard for human life and mischief to property under $5,000.
Police are not releasing the names of the accused to protect the identity of the youth.
