The University of Windsor says there may be a need to cancel some classes on Wednesday.
Students are being asked to check their Blackboard sites for any notices.
A post on the Odette School of Business Facebook page notifies students that "unless you hear otherwise, classes, exams and assignments will proceed as scheduled."
The move comes after a woman suffered severe burns at the Odette building.
As of 7:15pm Windsor police remain on scene with the Ontario Fire Marshal.

Police were called to the scene just after noon today.
A 34-year-old woman was taken to Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus with what police describe as 'serious injuries.'
A 46-year-old male also suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Police say the two are known to each other and say there is no threat to public safety.
The Major Crimes branch of Windsor police is investigating.
