A Windsor woman behind a complaint with the City of Windsor's integrity commissioner is offering an apology.
Dee Sweet had launched the complaint against Mayor Drew Dilkens claiming comments he made at a news conference in May about the proposed mega hospital project on County Rd. 42 and the 9th concession were misleading.
She received a response from Integrity Commissioner Bruce Elman, but misintrepreted the response as the complaint being dismissed, when in fact, it was not.
"I, as an everyday citizen, interpreted this as meaning this complaints were dismissed," she wrote in an email to AM800 News.
She also wrote an email to council Friday morning but Elman has clarified with her, that the complaint has not been dismissed and she should correct any false impression.
