A Windsor man is facing charges of impaired driving after a serious overnight crash in the city's east end.
Police were called just before midnight to McHugh St. and Mickey Renaud Way and found a Buick Rainer and Honda Civic with extensive damages.
Officers spoke to the driver of the Buick and determined he was impaired due to alcohol.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. His passenger was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Two people in the other car were also hurt. One with minor injuries and the other with serious injuries.
Police closed off the area for several hours for accident reconstruction.
A 46-year-old Windsor man is facing charges of two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two counts of exceeding 80 milligrams of blood-alcohol causing bodily harm.
