A 19-year-old Windsor man and a young offender are under arrest in relation to the city's fifth homicide of the year.
The youth was arrested without incident in Windsor around 5:30pm on Wednesday, and is charged with first degree murder.
Due to his age he cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Muntather Al-Mehmodi, 19, was also arrested and is facing a charge of accessory after the fact to murder.
The incident happened Saturday at about 3:30 p.m. and the victim was rushed to hospital where he later died of the injuries.
20-year-old Justin Greenwood has been identified by his family as the victim.
Police previously charged 19-year-old Mustafa Al-Qaysi of Windsor with first degree murder.
A suspect vehicle was spotted on Sunday in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Marentette Avenue and according to police Al-Qaysi was the driver.
Investigators do not believe that the attack was a random act.
A total of three arrests have now been made in this case and the Major Crimes Branch continues to actively investigate the attack on Tecumseh Rd. W at McKay Ave.
The Major Crime Branch would still like to speak with anyone who may have any information in relation to the investigation.
