UPDATE Third Tentative Deal Reached In Casino Labour Dispute

The time and location for the ratification vote are now set.

For the third time, a tentative agreement has been reached between Unifor Local 444 and Caesars Windsor.

A ratification vote in now scheduled for Monday at the Ciociaro Club on North Talbot Rd. Registration begins at 8:30am with the meeting set to begin at 10am.

This latest agreement was reached just before 8:30pm Saturday night.

The two sides returned back to the bargaining table just after the noon hour on Saturday.

Unifor Local 444 President Dave Cassidy says the bargaining committee fully endorses the deal.

"We're very happy with the deal that we have in place," says Cassidy. 

He tells AM800 news, he wants the entire membership to come out and vote.

"Ratification votes is your future," says Cassidy.  "So we want everybody to be out there and we'll make every accommodation that we possibly can to make sure everybody can get there."

The 2100 plus workers have been out on strike since April 6th after rejecting the first tentative agreement.

A second tentative deal was also shot down on May 18th.
