Three people have been charged after a shots fired call in downtown Windsor.
Police were called around 3 p.m. Wednesday to a home at Mercer St. near Elliott St.
According to police, officers arrived on scene and found damage caused by a gunshot to the home on Mercer St.
The Emergency Services Unit and forensic identification Unit were called in — shell casings were found as well as occupants of the home, however nobody was injured.
Shortly after the incident on Mercer St., a black pickup truck — believed to be stolen and involved in the incident — was then spotted in the 2400 block of Arthur Rd. near Tecumseh Rd.
Several people were seen getting out of the truck and going into a home, which police surrounded for several hours.
By 7:30pm everybody in the house had come out or brought out by police.
At this time, police say there are no outstanding suspects.
Twenty-three-year-old Jade Freeswick, 34-year-old Matthew Maskery, and 31-year-old Danielle Bigelow, all of Windsor, are facing charges.
