Clean up continues after Windsor's first major snow fall of the year.
The city's Executive Director of Operations Dwayne Dawson says the main streets are mostly clear and crews began plowing residential streets around 5am Sunday morning.
Dawson is asking residents to remove their vehicles from the street so snow plows can make their way through.
"We're going to roll into the residential streets and begin clearing those," he says. "We ask that if they can keep their cars off the road that would certainly help with our efforts in there."
He tells AM800 News drivers need to be patient, just because they don't see the plows, it doesn't mean they're not out there working.
"All of our trucks are still out there. We've made a couple passes on all the routes so far," he says. "It's about 2.5-hours to 3-hours for one truck to do its entire route, that's why you may not see them for a while."
Dawson advices motorists to continue to use caution once roads are cleared with frigid temperatures on the way overnight and into the day Sunday that can still cause slippery conditions
