Windsor police are searching for two suspects, considered to be armed and dangerous, in an armed robbery at a jewelry store in south Windsor.
Police were called for a robbery at the store on Walker Rd. near Division on Tuesday around 5:50pm.
An investigation revealed two suspects entered the business, one carrying an axe and another carrying a suspected firearm.
They used the axe to smash a number of the display cases and fled the area.
The suspect ran to a waiting vehicle and drove off northbound on Walker Rd.
The vehicle is described as a grey coloured Dodge Durango.
No one was hurt.
The first suspect is a white man, about 5'9, 170 lbs. He was wearing a black ski mask, a brown worn jacket with white lining, a hooded sweatshirt, black pants, work boots and white gloves. He was carrying the suspected firearm.
The second suspect is a man, also wearing a black ski mask, wearing a black or dark grey jacket with a hood, dark gloves, grey jogging pants with an emblem on the left leg, black shoes and he was carrying an axe.
