An overturned fuel truck on North Service Road triggered a road closure in east Windsor, Ont.
The truck rolled-over into a ditch on the North Service road between Lauzon Road and Central Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to Windsor Police Service.
Police had to close North Service Road from both Lauzon Road and Central Avenue while Windsor Fire and Rescue Service cleans up diesel spilled in the crash.
Windsor police had reported the westbound lanes of E.C. Row Expressway were closed at Lauzon Road, but Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Lee says the closure is related road work, not the crash.
Lee says the spill has been contained and there's no threat to residents or the environment in the area.
