60 workers at Motor City Chrysler in Windsor are walking the picket line.
After talks broke off Tuesday, members of Unifor Local 195, went on strike Wednesday morning to back contract demands.
Their contract expired at 11:59pm January 30.
Workers say the employer is demanding concessions and they want respect.
"There are a lot of things going on right now with the economy going very well, it is a profitable dealership," says Chair of Motor City Chrysler Unit 1 representing services and parts, Charles Dezeure. "The membership of this unit has given to this company many concessions over the last 12 years due to the poor economy and we want some of the stuff back that we have been asking for."
Chair of Motor City Chrysler Unit 2, representing sales and accounting, for Unifor Local 195 Bill Echlin says workers have had enough.
"The bulk of it is respect. There is no respect for the workers and they are getting sick of it," he says."Concessions is the number two thing here."

There is no date to resume talks.
