An industrial accident in Oldcastle.
Tecumseh Fire Chief Doug Pitre says fire crews along with the OPP were called to Precision Stamping Friday morning.
He says a large piece of machinery weighing 45,000 lbs fell on a worker's arm.
The Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate and is sending one inspector to the area.
"It was reported to us that a dye allegedly slipped from a forklift and it injured a worker's hand," says Janet Deline, spokesperson with the Ministry of Labour. "We don't have any other information about injuries at this time."
The worker has been taken to the hospital.
