Police have confirmed the man is dead and an autopsy has been scheduled
A man has died after a marine emergency in east-Windsor.
Windsor Police Service says a boater spotted a man in the water around 5:20pm Saturday night — he was then pulled from the Detroit River in the 8500-block of Riverside Dr. E.
According to Police, the man was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police believe the man had fallen off a jet ski. An autopsy has been scheduled to confirm the cause of death.
The man's name is being withheld while police notify next of kin.
Major Crimes is handling the investigation.
