More rain, cooler temperatures and high winds are on the way.
Rain showers are forecast to begin again this evening, with winds picking up to about 40km/hour after midnight.
According to Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell, we are close to a wind warning.
"The wind warning is issued when we either have sustained winds of 70 km/hour or gusts to 90 km/hour — so we're just shy of that at this point," says Kimbell.
He also expects there be power outages in southern Ontario on Tuesday.
"With the branches falling of the trees, there will be impact to motorists, that they find themselves buffeted around by the wind and certainly high profile vehicles like trucks and certainly people at home with stuff around the garden and the yard that's not secured, it may very well be blowing around tomorrow."
According to the most recent forecast from Environment Canada, high winds will move into Windsor-Essex Tuesday morning southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 increasing to 50 and then gusting to 80 in the morning.
