Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Lee says the cause has been listed as arson
One person has been arrested following a deliberately set fire in Windsor.
As heard on AM800 news on Wednesday, it broke out in the 1000 block of Pelissier near Erie St. just after midnight in the upper level of a four-plex.
When crews arrived, smoke and flames were found in the second floor unit.
One person was taken to hospital with minor smoke inhalation.
According to police, The injured man started the fire which caused $175,000 in damage.
A 55-year old Windsor man is charged with arson with disregard for human life.
