Two Windsorites have been arrested on a number of charges after a vehicle pursuit involving OPP.
On January 4th shortly after 6:00 pm, OPP from the Napanee Detachment, along with Quinte West OPP, arrested 31 year-old Christopher Royal, and 38 year-old Jody Bouma after they tried to flee from police on the 401.
Both Royal and Bouma were wanted by Windsor Police's Drugs and Guns Unit and Criminal intelligence unit after a 12 week drug trafficking investigation back in September of 2016.
The original investigation in September resulted in numerous arrests, as well as the seizure of methamphetamine, prescription drugs and synthetic fentanyl.
Royal faces multiple drug related charges including Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
Bouma will face multiple drug charges as well including Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
25 year-old Jacob Reaume, from Windsor turned himself into Windsor Police on December 15, and has been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
All suspects in the 2016 investigation have now been arrested.
Both Reaume and Bouma will eventually be returned to Windsor to face their charges, after OPP completes their ongoing investigation.
Napanee OPP initially reported Royal and Bouma were wanted for robbery.
