The recount vote will take place for the deputy mayors seat
A date has been set for a recount of votes for the deputy mayor's seat in Amherstburg.
It will take place on November 21st.
On Tuesday, council agreed to the recount after councillor Leo Meloche beat councillor Diane Pouget by just four votes in October's municipal election.
The town's current bylaw states an automatic recount when there is a tie, but council felt with the results being so close, a recount was necessary.
