Despite the release of a man arrested by police, charges are pending after an altercation on a Windsor Transit bus.
The incident happened at Seminole St. and Drouillard Rd. around 9pm on Saturday.
A Windsor man in his early 20s was arrested at the scene, but Windsor police tell AM800 News he has since been released without any charges.
A 50-year-old Windsor man is in hospital with serious injuries and is expected to be released from hospital sometime on Sunday.
According to police, a knife was pulled on the bus, but the victim wasn't stabbed.
No one else on the bus was hurt.
Police continue to investigate.
