A Windsor woman and two men from the Greater Toronto Area face weapons charges after gunfire erupted in Ford City.

Three people have now been charged after gunfire erupted in Windsor's Ford City neighbourhood.

The Major Crimes Branch was called to Drouillard Rd. near Reginald St. on before 7 a.m. Tuesday for reports of shots fired.

Bullet casings were found at the scene and the investigation led officers to a hotel on Division Road where two rooms were raided and a firearm was seized.

A 22-year old Windsor woman, Taylor Chickee, is charged with possession of a firearm without a licence.

Two men from the Toronto area face the same charge.

They are identified as 25-year-old Hussein Khalfan of Toronto and 23-year-old Faruuq Osman of Scarborough.

No one was hurt, and police say no other information is being released as the investigation continues.

This is the second incident involving gunfire in less than a week. Three people were arrested after gun shots hit a home at Mercer Street and Elliot Street East on July 3.
