Aunt Jemima as many have come to know it will no longer exist.
Quaker, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, has announced that it's getting rid of the logo and changing the name.
A statement from the company says ditching both the image and the name is part of an effort to "make progress toward racial equality."
The move comes as racist symbols have been coming under more and more intense scrutiny following weeks of protests after the death of George Floyd.
The pancake "mammy" was originally created in the 19th century, based on a former slave named Nancy Green.
Although the image was updated in the latter half of the 20th Century to look more like a modern homemaker, critics say the racist connection remains.
That includes the name Aunt Jemima, which comes from an old minstrel song performed by white performers in blackface.
Uncle Ben’s brand of rice also announced on Wednesday that the brand will “evolve” in response to concerns about racial stereotyping.
