An elderly man suffered critical injuries after being hit by a car in east-Windsor.
Windsor Police Services were called to the eastbound lane of Tecumseh Rd, E. near Annie St. around 3pm Thursday after a motorist struck a pedestrian in front of a McDonald's.
The 70-year-old has been transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Clothing and blood remained scattered on the pavement beside a brown sedan while the Accident Reconstruction Team investigated the scene - the road has since been cleared.
Police say the driver hasn't been taken into custody and there is no word on whether charges will be laid until the investigation concludes.
