Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Windsor-Essex.
According to the statement, Isolated thunderstorms could drop up to 40mm of rain along the shores of Lake Erie Sunday afternoon.
A mix of sun and cloud today with a 30% chance of showers this afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm with the daytime high reaching 28C, feeling like 33C with the humidex.
Partly cloudy tonight with a 30% chance of showers...a risk of a thunderstorm as well with the overnight low dropping to 18C.
Sunny tomorrow morning...changing to a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon with a 30% chance of showers...a risk of a thunderstorm with a high of 29C, 34C with the humidex.
Tuesday - A mix of sun and cloud with a high of 32C.
Wednesday - More sun and cloud with a 30% chance of showers and a high of 28C.

Thursday - Cloudy with a 70% chance of showers and a high of 25C.
