The police action began just before 11am Tuesday
A few tense moments for residents living near Mercer St. and Elliott in Windsor.
Officers, with their guns drawn, surrounded and entered a home just before 11am Tuesday for a report of a person possibly in possession of a firearm.
An hour later, police gave the all-clear when no firearm was found.
The roads, which were closed for the investigation, have since re-opened.
