A 'Get Swabbed' event is scheduled for Wednesday at the University of Windsor.
It's in honour of Jocelyn McGlynn, a 21-year-old student at Western University in London.
McGlynn, who is from Chatham, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last November.
Her two brothers are not eligible donors as they are not a 10-for-10 match for a transplant.
Students at Western along with those at other universities are rallying together and have set up swabbing and blood donation events in her name in hopes of finding a donor.
McGlynn is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Today's event is at the CAW Student Centre from 10:30am until 3:30pm.
