Two members of the Windsor Express have been named to the 3D Canada team taking part in the 40th annual William Jones Cup in New Taipei, China.
The 3D Canada team will be in Toronto July 9 to 11 for training camp, where Express forward Logan Stutz and guard Shaquille Keith will become part of the 10-man roster.
“It’s a credit and an honour to have two Windsor Express players named to Team Canada,” said CEO and president Dartis Willis.
“It reflects not only on the quality and skill of Logan and Shaq, but also the level of professional competition in the National Basketball League of Canada.”
The 6’ 9” Stutz, out of Washburn (NCAA II), played in 43 games for Windsor during the 2017-18 NBLC season, amassing 18.2 ppg, 8.3 rpg.
The 6’ 5” Keith, from Cape Breton (Usports), was 5th in the NBLC in free throws and logged 16.1 ppg and 6.0 rpg in 41 games with the Express.
The 40th William Jones Cup gets underway from July 14 to 22, with Chris Oliver of the Windsor Lancers involved as head-coach.
