Two Toronto area men have been charged following a home invasion in Windsor.
Police were called about a suspicious vehicle on Jefferson, near Tecumseh Rd around 2am.
A citizen said two men exited the car wearing ski masks while the driver remained in the vehicle.
Officers spoke to the driver and learned that a home invasion had occurred nearby. The driver was arrested and later released.
A 54-year-old man told police two suspects had forced their way into his home. They assaulted him and took a number of items. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Patrol officers arrested the two suspects who were seen fleeing the area.
29-year-old Ian Lawrence and 21-year old Nedrick Samuels, both of Toronto are charged with robbery, assault, break and enter and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
