Windsor Police are looking for two suspects following a violent assault in the city’s west end.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, officers responded to a report of an assault at an apartment building in the 3100 block of Sandwich Street.
Officers learned that an argument between a man and a woman and two other people escalated into a physical fight.
Investigators learned that the female suspect allegedly began punching a female victim. When a male victim stepped between the two parties, he was punched and choked by the male suspect.
Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and one was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police are now looking for both suspects involved. The man is described as white, between 40 and 50 years old, approximately 5′10′' tall, with a medium build, and grey facial hair.
The woman is described as white, approximately 5′9′' tall, with a medium build, and brown hair tied in a ponytail.
