The Ontario Fire Marshal's office says two people are dead after a house explosion in Leamington.
As heard on AM800 Monday morning, the OPP along with Leamington Fire Services and Essex-Windsor EMS responded to a residential fire on Marentette Beach Road just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Investigators with the OFM arrived on scene over the lunch hour on Monday.
The OFM did not provide any other details but did say the investigation is still in its early stages.
Provincial police have Marentette Beach Road closed as the investigation continues into the cause.
