Two men are alive after a rescue on Lake Erie this morning.
The Canadian Coast Guard reports a search was sparked Monday night which led to the rescue of the two men who had fallen from a jet ski in the western part of the lake early Tuesday morningĀ
Authorities were first tipped off around 9pm on Monday by crew from the MV Jiimaan ferry to Pelee Island. An unmanned jet ski had been spotted near Leamington. The crew called the Coast Guard's Marine Communications Centre in Sarnia.

Crew in Amherstburg were sent out along with auxiliary vessel Colchester Guardian. A US Coast Guard helicopter was also involved in the search.
It was at about 12:30am on Tuesday when the two men were finally found.
Crew on the CCHS Thunder Cape pulled the men out of the water and were transferred to a waiting ambulance in Leamington.
The men suffered hypothermia and guessed they had been in the water for eight hours.
The Coast Guard won't be releasing the names of the men.
